"Constitution Article 42 is non-governmental organization working on human rights issues which was established on September 12, 1997. The members of the organization are professional lawyers who provide free legal aid to the victims of human rights violations by representing their interest in the courts and state institutions. The mission of the organization is to make Georgia rule of law country by establishing international standards for the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms and raising public awareness. The tasks and objectives of the organization are:
• Support of human rights protection for the vulnerable and marginalized groups, including and ethnic and religious minorities in Georgia; improvement of access to justice;
• Ensure access to the European Court of Human Rights and other international institutions case-law and standards;
• Improvement of professionalism of practicing and future lawyers;
• Support of fair legal environment and establishment of business ethnic for small enterprises in Georgia.
